  Final Thoughts

All journeys begin with one step (kick) at a time.

First swim "Pool of Dreams" in Iowa, circa 1956

Thank-you to all of the wonderful baby swimmers and their families who contributed to this site. A special thanks to Heather, Brianne, Dana, Anders, Jack and Lance for their technical support, Jodi for proof reading and Kathy for her moral and creative support.

This web site is dedicated to the memory of my father, John K. McKay. He who always encouraged and supported, never judging or criticizing, always extending a helping hand. His steadfast patience and jovial spirit helped me to weather many a storm, seeing the best of each situation. A father who though always busy, was never too busy for us. His shining light touching many people, especially children, inspired me to care.
